Halo: Reach Weapons
Designated Marksman Rifle
M392 Designated Marksman Rifle
Although it saw more widespread use throughout all branches of the UNSC prior to 2548, it has since been superseded in use by the BR55 in all branches but the Army.
MA37 Individual Combat Weapon System
Gas operated, fully-automatic rifle capable of sustained fire. It is most accurate when fired in short, controlled bursts and otherwise ferociously powerful at close range.
M6G Personal Defense Weapon System
The standard sidearm of all UNSC personnel, highly regarded for its ruggedness and reliability. Several variants are issued with the smart-linked KFA-2 x2 scope.
Sniper Rifle System 99 Anti-Matériel
The SRS first entered service with the Army in 2460; because of its modularity and ongoing manufacturer support the SRS99 was adopted by all branches in 2521.
M41 Surface-to-Surface Rocket Medium Anti-Vehicle/Assault Weapon
It has two main components: the magazine (the disposable part of the system) and the launcher.
M45 Tactical Shotgun Close Assault Weapon System
This special-purpose weapon is used in any situation where range of engagement is limited, over-penetration is not desirable, but maximum stopping power is required.
M9 HE-DP Grenade
Carrying Capacity of 4
Standard issue UNSC fragmentation grenade
H-165 FOM Target Locater
2 Rounds (Rechargeable)
When available, artillery and airstrikes are incredibly effective.
M319 Individual Grenade Launcher
Because of it’s simplicity, ruggedness, and firepower, the M319 has been a mainstay within the UNSC Army’s arsenal since its official adoption in 2263.
Weapon/Anti-Vehicle M6 Grindell/Galilean Nonlinear Rifle
A directed energy weapon. Its battery conservation scheme requires user to “paint” its target during a brief charge lag. A zoomed scope will assist in aiming. It’s slow, but one of the most powerful portable armaments in the UNSC arsenal.
The projectiles move faster and fire straighter than a standard Needler while still detonating several seconds after coming to rest in soft tissue.
Type-51 Directed Energy Rifle/Improved
This weapon has only been encountered very recently and only in very limited numbers. It is very likely it is either new to the Covenant arsenal or it is a branch specific weapon.
Type-25 Plasma Rifle Direct Energy Rifle
A common, light plasma weapon favored by Covenant forces.
Type-33 Guided Munitions Launcher
It fires unconventional projectiles that are very long and very sharp — hence Needler. The projectiles are guided by some unknown mechanism and detonate several seconds after coming to rest in soft tissue.
Type-25 Directed Energy Pistol
This small directed energy weapon has two modes of fire: semi-automatic direct and semi-guided area of effect (AOE). The secondary AOE mode drastically reduces battery life.
Type-1 Antipersonnel grenade
Carrying Capacity of 2
Highly explosive Covenant grenade with a dangerous adhesive property.
Fuel Rod Gun
Type-33 Light Anti-Armor Weapon
A shoulder fired Covenant projectile weapon, it is commonly employed in both anti-personnel and anti-vehicle roles.
Type-1 Energy Weapon/Sword
This weapon consists of a grip that contains an energy storage/generation device and the blade projector and, when activated a blade composed of plasma stabilized within an energy field.
Type-52 Guided Munitions Launcher/Explosive
100 Battery (4 Bolt Burst)
This system is capable of launching and guiding up to four super-heated plasma bolts at a single target. The bolts will continue to track even if the operator is killed.
Type-52 Special Applications Rifle
This directed-energy weapon is believed to be battery-powered. Overheats after prolonged use.
Holding 48 spikes per magazine, this vicious and dangerous rifle is favored by Brutes and based on their native, pre-Covenant technology.
Type-50 Directed Energy Rifle/Heavy
Small magazine. Large area of effect.
Type-2 Energy Weapon/Hammer
A field generator, which is located in the head, emits a kinetic pulse (~4.5 meters). The exact mechanism by which it functions is currently under investigation.
